    BC High School Graduates require the following for entry into the Bachelor of Commerce Program:

    Academic

    • English 12 or English First Peoples 12
    • three approved Grade 12 courses * 
    • a fifth Grade 12 course **
    • at least a 65% average
    • Pre-Calculus 12 is recommended to meet course prerequisites

    Admission Advice

    1. If your high school was not taught in English, click here for NLC’s general English Language Proficiency requirements.

    2. Practicum activities for LAND 290 will require students to have H2S, Basic First Aid, Pipeline Construction Safety Training, and WHMIS prior to the fourth semester of the program.

    3. If you meet the English proficiency requirement using an IELTS score and have a writing band of 6.0 or less, you are required to complete NLC English 099 with at least a "B" grade in your first semester at NLC.
