Admission Advice
1. If you do not have one of the above certificates, you will need to complete the following prerequisites for admission:
Early applications are accepted up to one year in advance of the intended start date. The application deadline for students is March 1 for September and May entry and November 1 for the January intake. Admission deadlines are subject to change and are often extended.

Admission Advice
1. As part of the selection process, shortlisted applicants will be interviewed (teleconferencing is an option). The MLT Career Investigation Report form is the primary means of selecting applicants for the interview.
2. Students accepted into the program will have to supply documents certifying current immunizations, health exams and a current first aid certificate.
3. Self-identified Canadian Aboriginal applicants who meet the admission requirements by the priority deadline will be given priority for 20% of the seats in the program.

Applicants without an appropriate certificate will need the following courses:

1. If you have an Applied Business Technology, Office or Administrative Assistant certificate from another institution you must submit transcripts with your application for potential admission exemptions.
2. If you have relevant office experience in the last two years, you may contact the Mackenzie Campus to discuss potential admission exemptions.
3. Applicants without an online certificate will need to complete ABTC 050 before entering or as part of the program.
