Note(*): Based on the results of your assessment(s), you may be required to participate in an assessment interview to determine your admissibility. Interview may be conducted via teleconference if necessary.

1. If you do not meet the above admission requirements, you can gain program entry by successfully completing appropriate assessments and/or upgrading courses. Feedback on the Assessments will be provided to help you make informed decisions about appropriate selection of upgrading courses. For more details, please contact a NLC academic advisor.

Admission Advice
1. If you are a mature student (ie - at least 19 years old on the first day of classes and have been out of the regular school system for at least one year), it is possible to be admitted to the program without meeting the above academic admission requirements. For details, contact a CNC academic advisor.2. If the program is oversubscribed, the following criteria will be used to select the class:

3. Secondary school graduation with English 12, Math 11 and Physics 11 is required by some employers of apprenticeship trainees. Contact program faculty for more details.

1. Admission Average = for all provinces, the best grade for each required course will be used (either the course mark or the course mark blended with the provincial exam).
2. Students in other admission categories (eg - Admission from other Post-Secondary Institutions, Mature Student Entry, Special Entry) should refer to the UNBC Admissions page.

Admission Advice
1. Grade 12 graduation is recommended.
2. English proficiency is required for all students entering CMTN programs. Please visit the English Language Alternatives page to see the equivalent of English Studies 12.
3. If you do not meet the program entry requirements, you are encouraged to speak with the Program Coordinator as you may be considered for admission based on other criteria.
4. If planning to transfer to university or enter into professional accounting programs you should have Math 12. All Bachelor of Commerce Degree programs in BC have a calculus requirement.
