Admission Advice
1. Admission Average = For all provinces, the best grade for each required course will be used (either the course mark or the course mark blended with the provincial exam).
2. Students in other admission categories (eg - Admission from other Post-Secondary Institutions, Mature Student Entry, Special Entry) should refer to the UNBC Admissions page.
Applications must be submitted by March 31 for September entry. Applications received after March 31 are considered late and will be processed as space permits.

1. The Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program leads to UNBC’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).

Admission Advice
1. After completing two years of study at CMTN, NCBNP students continue at UNBC Terrace Campus (or transfer to a partner site) to complete third and fourth year of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
2. Self-identified Aboriginal applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be given priority for up to 20% of the first-year seats for the program.
3. Admission will be offered to the applicants with the highest GPA in the four specific pre-requisite courses. In the event of a tie, these courses will be weighted in the following priority: English, Biology, Math and Chemistry.
4. University transferable courses in English, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics (not statistics) can be used in lieu of the respective high school courses required for admission. If you have the high school prerequisite courses and more advanced courses, the courses with the higher grades will be used in determining the admission GPA.
5. British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) requires all applicants to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency before they can begin practicing nursing in BC. If English is not your first language, regardless of your citizenship or country of origin, you must provide evidence of your English language proficiency through IELTS or CELBAN in addition to fulfilling the requirement of English 12.
